Our Group charity the ‘OCU Foundation’ held its inaugural Charity Dinner on Friday 4th October and the event was a resounding success with dinner, drinks, entertainment, auctions and more. An impressive amount was raised on the night for our current charity partner the Teenage Cancer Trust.
We were deeply grateful for the overwhelming turnout, and it was a powerful opportunity to raise money for, and awareness of, the incredible work the Teenage Cancer Trust does every day, supporting young people with cancer across the UK.
We are honoured to contribute to this important cause and it was a great pleasure to be joined on the night by our special guest, Lakita, who had stage two Hodgkins Lymphona and was supported throughout her journey by the Teenage Cancer Trust. She delivered a deeply moving speech that resonated with everyone in the room.
Well done to our OCU Foundation team on the delivery of such an impressive event that will make a real difference to the charity.
